One tool for everything that needs to stay online
From your marketing site to an internal microservice, from SSL certificates to the 3 a.m. backup: pick the check type and UptimeAnchor takes care of the rest.
HTTP(S)
Check that websites and APIs respond with the expected status code and measure the response time of every check.
Learn moreKeyword
Check that a word or phrase appears (or doesn't) in the response: perfect for catching error pages that return 200.
Learn morePing
Use ICMP to verify that servers, routers and network devices are reachable, and measure latency.
Learn morePort
Check that a TCP service accepts connections on a port: databases, mail servers, SSH, FTP and more.
Learn moreUDP
Send a UDP packet and verify the expected reply: for DNS servers, VoIP, game servers and custom protocols.
Learn moreHeartbeat
Your job calls a URL when it finishes: if the signal doesn't arrive on time, we alert you. Ideal for cron jobs and backups.
Learn moreDNS
Check that A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS and TXT records return the expected values and detect unauthorised changes.
Learn moreDomain expiry
Keeps track of your domains' expiry dates and alerts you well in advance, before your website disappears.
Learn moreSSL certificates
Every HTTPS monitor also checks the certificate: issuer, validity and expiry, with reminders before browsers show an error.
Learn moreAlerts that reach the people who need to act, without the noise
Connect email, SMS, phone calls, Slack, Teams, Telegram, PagerDuty and many more channels. Every monitor has its own recipients.
No false alarms
Alerts are only sent after confirmed consecutive failures, not on the first isolated timeout.
Recovery alerts
Get notified when the service is back online too, along with how long the outage lasted.
Per-monitor recipients
The database alerts the DBA, the checkout alerts the e-commerce team. Everyone gets only what matters to them.
Multi-region confirmation
A failure is verified from several regions before an incident is opened.
Timeline of an incident
09:42:11
Store checkout returns HTTP 503 from Milan.
09:42:24

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.
What is UptimeAnchor?
UptimeAnchor is an uptime monitoring service: it regularly checks websites, APIs, servers, ports, DNS records, cron jobs, SSL certificates and domains, and alerts you as soon as something stops working.
How often are checks run?
Every 5 minutes on the Free plan, every minute on the Solo and Team plans and down to every 30 seconds on the Enterprise plan. You can choose a longer interval for each monitor.
Which channels can I receive alerts on?
Email, SMS, voice call, webhook, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, Google Chat, Mattermost, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Pushover, Splunk On-Call and Zapier.
Can I use my own domain for the status page?
Yes, from the Solo plan. Just create a CNAME record such as status.yourdomain.com pointing to UptimeAnchor and connect it from the dashboard.
Where is my data stored?
Data is hosted in data centres in the European Union. We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and provide a data processing agreement (DPA).
