Website and API monitoring, done right
UptimeAnchor sends a request to your URL at regular intervals, checks the response code and how long it took, and alerts you as soon as something is wrong.
Included in every plan: 5 free monitors checked every 5 min, down to every 1 min on paid plans.
- URL
- https://shop.example.com/checkout
- Method
- GET
- Expected status
- 200-299
- Interval
- 60 s
- Regions
- eu-south, us-east
How it works
Setting up a HTTP(S) monitor takes less than a minute.
- 1
Enter the URL
Set the address to check, the interval and the regions to run checks from.
- 2
UptimeAnchor requests it
At every interval a probe makes the request, follows redirects and records status, response time and any errors.
- 3
Get alerted
If the response isn't what you expect for several consecutive checks, we open an incident and notify your contacts.
Configuration options
Everything you can tune to fit the check to your service.
- HTTP method
- GET, HEAD, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE or OPTIONS, so you can test endpoints that change data too.
- Expected status codes
- Ranges and lists such as 200-299,301: anything else counts as a failure.
- Request headers and body
- Add custom headers and a JSON, form or raw body to simulate real calls.
- Authentication
- Basic auth or Bearer tokens to check private areas and protected APIs.
- Redirects and TLS
- Choose whether to follow redirects and whether to accept self-signed certificates in test environments.
- Timeout and regions
- Set the maximum wait time and check from one or more regions at once.
